Since DOT agencies are required to provide traffic data to the federal highway administration on a monthly and annual reporting cycle, the TRADAS system has been developed to help clients meet federal reporting requirements. Detailed features within the reporting module provides TRADAS user's with the ability to export data for federal data submitting purposes. The system is also in compliance with federally documented guidelines such as the Traffic Monitoring Guide, 2002 edition and the AASHTO Guidelines for Traffic Data Programs. The system also supplies the traffic data requirements for the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG).
